West Coast Sales Manager

Meet defined sales goals through maintenance of existing customer base and identify new business opportunities. Plan, develop, coordinate and implement sales and marketing activites relative to key accounts. Manage and support sales efforts of regional agents and distributors. Identify and development new business opportunities and markets and report findings back to B/L management. Identify and coordinate technical service projects with customers and prepare requisite reports.
Principal Accountabilities Required by Job
Management and support of key and direct accounts.
Management and support of regional distribution sales
Analysis and maintenance of local sales activity, inventory requirements and technical service requirements
Development of market intelligence and recommendations for new market entrance. Planning and development local market needs, including recommendations for lab projects.
Develop pre-call plans, expense budgets, and writing reports
Participate in regional and national industry events
Bachelors degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or related technical field.
3 years selling experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
Strong Interpersonal skills, Strong written and presentation skills, negotiation skills. Ability to work across different cultures
Computer literacy in Notus Notes, Word, Powerpoint and Excel
